Firstly, a very belated happy New Year! I can’t believe it is February already and although we have not had too much wintery weather, I hope that it will soon start warming up and we can spend time outside playing in the garden.
While we are on the subject of the garden, we have been lucky enough to secure some funding which is being used to enhance the Children’s’ courtyard. This is adjacent to the main hall. Hopefully the work will be carried out during the Easter break. We will also be holding our annual Easter Egg hunt to raise funds to improve the actual garden area.
Our topic this term is Winter and Hibernation. The children are enjoying reading new stories, making dormouse shapes, junk modelling homes for the animals and many more fun craft activities.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON SESSIONS
Please let Jo or Sam know if you are interested in adding a Friday afternoon session onto your child’s sessions. This is something we would like to offer, if enough interest is shown.

Our African Land Snails have been very lucky and are enjoying their weekends and holidays with the children. If anyone would like to take them home for a weekend or half term / Easter, please let Sam or Shai know. Many thanks

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
A few parents have expressed an interest in attending a Paediatric First Aid course while their child is attending Preschool one morning.
I have been in contact with Safe Hands First Aid and they are willing to hold a session (approximately 2 hours) in the new ‘Crafty Coffee’ lounge which is due to open at the rear of the Church within the next few weeks. The cost is £20 per person. Please let Jo or Sam know if you would be interested in attending.
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Are any parents / Carers interested in us holding a Holiday Play Scheme during the Preschool holidays? This would be run with some of the current Pre School staff!
We are thinking about the week Monday April 4th to Friday April 8th and then potentially 3 weeks in the Summer holidays.
The opening times would be:-
9am-3pm – ALL DAY
9am -12pm OR 12pm – 3pm HALF DAY
The cost would be: –
£30 Per Day
£16 Per half Day
FULL WEEK £135 (10% DISCOUNT)
